You may notice that all the products in my shop say “sold out”. This is because currently I am only selling my products in person at farmer’s markets and not taking online orders at this time. Please visit the events page to find out which markets I am selling at next!

Willowheart Bakeshop is cottage bakery, meaning I produce baked products in my home kitchen. In the state of Ohio, a cottage food producer is not required to be licensed and inspected for the production of cottage foods.
I take food safety very seriously and because I am not licensed, I am only able to produce certain shelf stable foods that the Ohio Department of Agriculture deems safe. This means that I can produce most baked goods like cookies, cakes, and fruit pies, with the exception of products such as cheesecakes, pumpkin, custard, or cream pies, and fillings and frostings like cream cheese, as they require refrigeration to stay fresh and are not allowed under cottage food laws.

Currently I do not offer any specific products that are free from gluten, dairy, or sugar. In addition, most of my treats are made with eggs and dairy, such as butter and/or cream, so they are not vegan.
It is also important to note if you have severe food allergies, my products are made in a kitchen with equipment that has also processed allergens such as wheat, milk, soy, and nuts, including peanuts, pecans, and/or almonds.
